My shoulders are pretty weak but they never really get sore or burn too much when i'm exercising them. Anyway I got through the should workout yesterday and after today's workout when i was about to shower I noticed these little red spots on my right shoulder.. their on my left one too lightly.. they don't hurt.. but whats wrong there? anyone have any idea's about what they are.. would hate 2 goto a doctor for something that really doesn't hurt or bother me. Oh if its of any help I did way too many laying side laterals (was looking at the wrong exercise which called for more reps and sets then what I really had to do)

Were u out in the sun at anytime. I get these kind of spots from the sun. If it's from the workout and it doesn't hurt just keep an eye on them, If they get worse then go to the doc.

Not really.. haven't gone out too much in the past few days and the top part of my shoulder is always covered anyway when I go out. Don't think i've ever worn a tank...

Do you sweat alot when you lift? Sweating can cause this effect. Also, do you along get it on shoulder days?

I have the same problem. I get them sometimes on any area I work really hard. Biceps especially. I don't know what it is, but they creep me out. After a few days they go away, so I'm never really concerned about it.

I really don't sweat much at all for whatever I do unless its a lot of situps or running. As far as shoulder days this was the first time it happened so I just thought I might of done something really bad or overworked my shoulders.

This is a new one on me. The only experience I have that comes close is that sometimes when I do heavy squats I get marks across my shoulder girddle where the bar rested. They look like little hickeys. But I know what they are from.

I may have an answer for all of you. I get them to like when I squat I get them where the bar rests too. It is the small capillaries right under your skin breaking. They are not main vessels so they don't hurt your body, just a natural reaction to hard labor on muscles. Don't worry about it.
