hello.. I'm just after a little help from some people who have done the Max Muscle Mass program. Today in my back/bicep program (Thursday of Week 1)I replaced the dumbell cheat curls with Zottman preacher curls, concentration curls, and incline curls. I also changed the order of the back exercises, and put the deadlifts last because I find them to exaustive to do first.

So my question is, is there anything wrong with this? will it compromise the intended results? thanks

Hmmm.. I went through the 12 week mass.. it worked great. I think the key to the program is that you use low reps and compound movements. Preacher curls, concentration curls will not give you mass.. they are isolation movements. Also, I found that doing the deadlifts first allowed me to really use heavy weight.. if I did it near the end then I would not be as strong.

I would suggest to follow it strictly.

If you feel the need to add exercises maybe you should try the next level on FT. If you started out as beginner maybe you should try the intermediate, or advaced?

The order to the program maybe set up to exhaust certain muscles before training another or the same muscle. Most routines are set-up if done properly to achieve a certain goal. Deviating may reduce the desired effect. I used the routine as stated and used heavy weights and did indeed increased my poundage and size.

well I've put on 2kg since last week and filled some gaps in my lower back in only a week, without gaining any noticable fat, so it looks like its working

I'm on my 5th week. Stick to it to the T. It will pay off I believe.
