Hello everyone, my name is Dustin, and I am 22 years old. I am 6'7" and 390lbs. In high school I weighed about 315 - 320, but I was semi-athletic. Since then I had a knee surgery and it has went horribly down hill. I sometimes feel like I need support and/or motivation to keep me on track because my average "diet" lasts about 2 weeks before I start to slip up. I think I know a few of my downfalls, I eat too fast and I eat too much at a time. I'm not a big junk food eater, and I have cut pop out almost completely. I need some sort of plan or strict guidelines along with plenty of support and motivation. I hope this is the thing that gets me to my goal of FINALLY breaking the 300lb mark. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free, and thank you!

Hi Dustin,
Welcome to freetrainers :)

Stop dieting and make lifestyle changes instead. eat healthier, watch your portion sizes and start walking more.

There is tons of great advice in all the forums - start reading and ask questions when you can't find the answers you are looking for.

Lots of people here are in the same boat you are and I am sure many will step up to help motivate you if you do the same for them!
