I've never used them before. Do they work by giving you a little pop coming out of the hole? Also, since I lift primarily for basketball would there be any benefit to overall athleticism of lifting more or would they just lead to a higher squat amount?
i dont know much about them since i have never used them, but i believe they help give you a pop out of the hole, more rebound, less support. i would say that if you are not planning on competing, but only lifting for your sport, i would invest in some knee sleeves instead. they provide a little rebound (not much) but provide lots of support to keep your knees warm. i have been incorporating them lately...
