Hello, everyone!

I decided to give myself a nice name in hopes that I will continue to feel like treating myself...well, nice of course! :)

I have an eating problem. I eat too much of the wrong things. I haven't always, this is something a bit new to me. I was in great shape about 2 years ago...but now I weigh as much as I did when I was 9 months pregnant and that was 20 years ago! I hope with the support of all on here that I can reach my goal of 118 pounds. I am 50 years old and I am 5'1" tall...I weigh 158 pounds. I can't even believe I am typing this...just doesn't seem possible but it is the truth. Hopefully once I attain my ideal weight I will be able to give back and help others. Any suggestions from anyone at anytime is appreciated.

Does anyone know how many calories I should be taking in daily in order to reach my goal asap?

Thanks and nice to e-meet you!

Welcome to freetrainers.
Along with exercise , you should be aiming for about 12 calories per pound of body weight in order to see change. 1896 calories, so round of to 1900, make sure you have healthy foods, that contain Protein, Good carbs, and good fats, NO PROCESSED FOODS, let your stomach process the food! Eat often.

Good luck and let us know how you are doing.
