My name is Melissa and I just joined tonight. I live in Alaska and it is hard for about 9 months out of the year because it gets dark and cold. However, summer is here and I have energy to start over and lose some weight. HOpefully this will do the trick. I have started with some general weight training and cardio and now I have a plan to help me out - yea!! I will have to post a pic later when I find my camera (we just moved and everything is still in boxes - ugh)

Try getting up 1/2 an hour earlier every day. I have an 11 year old, a 3 year old, and a 2 year old...and work full time...so I hear what you are saying. I have been getting up early to workout for a mont now, and I feel so much better. I have tons more energy, and don't seem to need as much sleep! I love it!
