either muscles get exhausted to where you cant lift weights anymore or your central nervous system gets overloaded to where you get weaker, or lose interest in lifting, or dozens of other symptoms...you'll know it..

Are you asking when in a particular workout you know you've done enough, or in general when you know you're overtrained?

i just never felt anything on the bench press but i started usind dumbbells and that fixed the problem.
guess i should have been a little more clear with my problem.
