Hi, I'm pretty new to the supplements myself. I really only want to tone up and define my body more. I work out 5 days a week. I'm drinking the whey protein shakes and taking multi-vitamins. Alot of the guys I work with are taking NO Shotgun along with other supplements and they all suggest I start taking creatine and maybe an NO product. The only problem is that I dont really want to beef up alot just add some definition. any suggestions?

People give too much credit to supplements. Diet, training hard, and proper rest will get you where you want to be. If you're looking to lean out, take Carivan's advice and change your diet.

The diet part of it is there. The diet I'm on is about 240 grams protein, 300 carbs, 30 g fat and limits me to 2450 calories. I was just wondering if cee and NO2 would give my muscles a little bit of a boost. I'm 5'9, 160 lbs and my goal is to be about 185 by sept. 1. what do you think?

I think that at 160 you need to be eating more than 3,000 calories to put on 25 lbs by then. I was eating 3,000-3,500 a day at 155 lbs and it took me a solid month and a half to get up to 165.

Sorry...I know I just completely contradicted myself. I want to hit 185 then maintain weight. I know ya'll are thinking I thought he said he didnt want to bulk up too much. But 185 is my target weight then after that just want to maintain it.

ok thanks ecle5c. how do i need to proportion that with the protein, carbs, and fat? I think I've got a good proportion going with this diet but how would that work?

You could probably add some more good fat, avocado, fish, nuts, etc. More protein isn't a bad thing either, I probably wouldn't up the carbs too much more than that though.

kool. thanks. ok, now back to the topic at hand...how do you feel about the cee and no2? Some have told me that its not necessary at this point but more have told me that it would help me achieve my goal. what do you think?
