Hiya All - Ive had a slipped disc for 25 years now - and I intend to strengthen my back muscles - instead of squats is it Ok if I do Leg presses ?? thanks - and good luck and take care

Sounds like a better option-however, you should check with your doctor on this. Hope you're back gets better. I strained my back over 20 years ago and can still feel it from time to time. I go to a great chiropractor that helps tremendously. I went to him before I started this program. Have you considered chiro?? They do work!! Train hard!!

I would not do leg presses either. A ton of pressure on your back although many do not realize it. Do Smith Machine Squats. This takes out the balancing act that is likely putting strain on your back right now. Good advice from coolness though, see you doc.
