I think you need to post your entire weekly workout for anyone to be able to judge if it is overtraining.

Chances are if you dont feel like working out, you're fatiged, etc. then you're overtraining. Take a week off, get a new plan, start doing legs and you should be good to go.

Bull. If you can judge whether someone is overtraining by looking at their training routine, then I'll hire you as my trainer.

Look at the symptoms of overtraining, and decide how badly they apply to you (not whether or not, but the degree to which they do).

Elevated morning heart rate
Lack of motivation
Difficulty Sleeping
Getting Weaker
Descreased Appetite
Getting cold easily
etc.

Also look at your diet. Double what you eat, and your work capacity will go up. Create a calorie deficit, and you'll have to cut back on the volume. Most people that complain of overtraining regularly also complain about not being able to gain weight, and these 2 groups both have in common that they don't eat enough.

It is difficult for any of us and would probably be as far as irresponsible for us to sit here and judge with any certainty you are overtraining. It is so individualistic.

The deal here is simple. If you are 'tired, irritable, weaker' on a consistent basis, in other words problematic, then something is up. This does not take a science major to figure out.

If you are in this category, it simply means you may(and I stress may) either be overtraining, it may be a medical condition rearing itself, or any number of things. All of us have different recovery 'thresholds', and you are probably exceeding yours. Your's and mine may well be totally different. This is what you are going to have to 'look into yourself' for, do some self studying, and eliminate or add things to make it better.

If however it is just 'sometimes', then this is pretty natural, as so much goes into the difference between a good and bad workout.

Well, a high protein diet jumps out at me. While this is fine, you need glucose. Your main source is from carbs. High protein diets with little to no carbs can make you a tired and lethargic boy! Strict high protein/low carb diets are not at all for everyone, and for a hard training athlete, even moreso. Unless dieting for a contests, there is little reason to ever do this.

You will need to slowly introduce carbs. Adding a bunch such as 4 to 1 as you say is a bad thing when you have been low carb for a while. You may well be 'carb intolerant' at this time. Up your intake from what it is now to say 100 gr. a day, which is probably about minimum for someone in our 'profession'. Adjust from there as needed over a progressional basis.
