Why are you even concerned with supplements when you have not even allowed your body to respond to the stimulus of training in any way yet? So many people want to use supplements just beginning, and therefore diminish what little effects many of them do have by not allowing for any natural gains to take place first. -------------- Baseball is the only field of endeavor where a man can succeed three times out of ten and be considered a good performer |

Dude, 10 pounds is easy just eat. You don't need supplements for 10 pounds especially if you're just starting back to working out.

I'm an extomorph and just increasing the amount of calories i was taking in and working out(no supplements whatsoever besides protein) I gained about 12 lbs in 2 months. It's really not that difficult to gain weight initially if you just start working out and eating right. I went from 150 to 162 and I'm 6'1 also

You didn't gain weight while playing hockey because you were doign the equivalent of several hours of cardio each day, effectively burning the extra calories. Try lifting weights and eating, that tends to work for most people.
If you try now, and 4000 calories still doesn't do it, then get 4500 calories. Supplements won't give you nearly the boost as 500 extra calories. -------------- SQUAT MORE ~Jesse Marunde Blood Guts Sweat Chalk |

You ask a question to those of us with no incentive to lie to you. We give you our honest opinion, which isn't what you want to hear, and get all pissy about it.
You are obviously looking for a specific answer, or one that says "yes, take this and it will work." But the truth is that besides the advertisers and those with a large incentive to you guying it, not many folks will recommend most of those products if you are starting out/getting back on track. |
