Why do the prices keep going up? Ok, I know why they keep going up since I studied economics and pricing structures, but still.
I used to go through a gallon every other day, now I try to make them last 3-4 days if possible. I used to eat 4-5 hardboiled eggs each morning for breakfast, now it's just getting ridiculous.
So, with the prices of milk and eggs going up what is everyone eating for breakfast? How are those on low-carb diets making that work?

Don't you follow the news...there is no inflation.:laugh:
I still however eat eggs and drink milk.

You have to try to shop around. Instead of always buying milk at Pick n Save, go to Wal-Mart or some other store and see if it's cheaper. Also, since you go through it so quickly, wait til it goes on sale and stock up. And, since you need food, cut back on unnecessary costs. Since gas has gone over $4 a gallon around me, I've almost stopped driving unless I absolutely have to. Bike or walk as much as possible.
I hope this helps!

How much are Milk and eggs there?
Eggs on sale here are at $1.50 Dz and milk is around $1.65 a litre which equals $6.24 us gallon.
We buy gas by the litre @ $1.43 which would equal $5.41 per us gallon.

I did find $2.50 milk but it's a drive to get there so I go about every other week and grab 5 gallons, all that I can fit in the refrigerator. Eggs go for more like $1.8 or so a dozen.
