The thing with diet pills is that your body can get used to them really quickly. As jbennett said, focus on getting your training program and diet down first. Remember it's called a "supplement" and not a "substitute". Depending on your caffeine tolerance, there is probably nothing wrong with trying it, but you're gonna get more out of your discipline in the long run.
A decent diet coinciding with an individualized training program works best...
