I'm just wondering if there's a way to calculate how many calories you burn if you push weight while walking/running. I ask because my sister is in a wheelchair, and the extra weight while pushing her is about 200 lbs.
At first I thought about just adding that weight to my own, but since I'm not carrying her I don't think that that would be accurate. Is there a website out there that anybody knows of that calculates in weight that's being pushed?

Only thing I can see working is getting a heart rate monitor. Many of them will have a calorie function built right in.

Thanks you two!!
Amy, I went to the site, and it gave me a good number to start with. Now I just have to adjust it to my weight and add in my sister's weight too, as I think that number is running with an empty wheelchair.
Steve, do the heart rate monitors calculate the calories burned just based off of your heart rate alone? I have a naturally fast heart rate, so will that alter anything, or will it still be accurate?
