whats a good diet to have that is simple

what is a good diet to have while trying to build muscle but dont want to cook a 5 course meal for dinner! any ideas?

Meat: chicken, fish, beef, vennison, etc. Maybe a salad with olive oil, or just a good amount of vegetables. Trying to bulk you could add some rice as well.
