Hi! My name is Tina...just introducing myself. Also, if anyone knows any good cardio w/out a machine, and w/out running because I have bad knees and an injured ankle, let me know.
Low impact aerobics , kickboxing (Turbo jam offers very good low impact choices) most newer dvds and videos offer ways to modify the routines so they are low impact for those people with knee and joint issues.
You will need to get that ankle functional again before doing most cardio, though. other than swimming or strapping your leg to the pedal of an exercise bike, any weight on the injured ankle is not going to be productive. relax, cut your calories a little and heal and be sue to rehab the ankle well with range of motion exercises.
