i am new to weight training, i am bench pressing,doing dumbells, when can i start to see some results

Welcome to ft! The answer to your question is, it depends. Some body types respond more quickly to training than others. Typically, you may start to see results in about a month.

If you stick with a workout routine you will see results faster than you may think. I have never had definition in my triceps before and after about a month I started to see some little lumps. I show them off all the time because I think it is so cool. Also I started to see some pretty good results in my chest. Good luck and let us know about your progress.
