I am going to be 40 in a few weeks and I finally accepted I can't turn back to time to be in the shape I want to be, so I need to start now. I've never worked out in my life and have trouble with consistency. I get disappointed and frustrated and give up when I don't believe I'll get results. I am embarassed to say I pretty much live on total junk, like candy and soda. I'm a stress eater and as a single mom of two with no help, I'm STRESSING. I not only want to turn my life around, I NEED to. I'm a novice on the internet chat thing as well, again, my first time, so I hope I can keep up. Thank you in advance for any help and encouragement anyone can give. And good luck to all of you.
Welcome to ft:) you will stress lessif you make small changes, one at a time. Maybe cutting out a specific junk food, or beginning a walking plan would be a good first step.
You will find a lot of people in the same boat as you here...so ask for support, ask specific questions and read everything you can. the more educated you are, the better your results.
