I'm new here but have a question about the stomach. I've had 3 kids (twins) and was stretched about as far as I could be stretched. I saw an episode from the "Doctors" who had a "specialist" who calimed that no amount of exercise would "fix" the stomach area. He said that no matter how many crunches you do that it will not pull the ab muscles back together, of course their recommendation was to have surgery and the muscles would be pulled together again or something along those lines. I know cardio and calorie reduction will burn the fat but what about the part about the actual muscles?? Is this fact or myth?
I think stomach vaccuum exercises can help pull it back in and core training will help you. It depoends on if your abs actually seperated or if you just pooched out.

It is a fact that once your stomach muscle is separated the only way to put it back together is by surgery. if you absolutely can not live with your stomach the way it is i think you should consider a surgery also check with your insurance company they may cover a part of it.
