I really hope this isn't something that's not really allowed but....OOWWW!!! I've been sore for three weeks straight!! It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't keep moving around! Every day a different part is sore! And now back to your regularly scheduled insanity. :p

<laughs> Been there, experienced that! Actually, everytime my programme has me doing lunges (I really hate those!)
Try a long, hot bath ... adding some epsom salts to the water helps too!

Man I am soo with you! I'm a fencer, and I still hate lunges!! I'm used to doing them with a foil, not weights!!

But the lunges we do in fencing are definitely not the same ones as in weight training SO you are stretching and working your muscles differently.
Ever heard about active recovery? After your weight training program do excactly the same exercises but with VERY light weights. This can help the muscles get rid of some lactid acid. Otherwise ask mrs Caisands for a massage!! (o:
