I have now enrolled in the gyms version of "the biggest loser" I'm 32, 5'8ish I weigh 208. I am enjoying the elpical. However, I need to find a work out plan that suits me. I work 12 hour night shifts as a registered nurse. I need a quick 1-1 1/2 hour total body weight lifting routine on the nights that I work. And then I need a broken down weight lifting routine on the days I don't work. Currently I am seeing a trainer 1 day a week. I am doing the elpical for 1 hour almost every day.

You should be able to get a decent total body workout in less than an hour.
Something like this, alternating a set of lower body and a set of upper body...

Squat or leg press
Bench press
Deadlift or step ups
Cable row or pulldowns
Overhead shoulder press
core work....

you have hit every muscle group with those exercises....I do similar routines with clients and it takes about half an hour when you superset the upper and lower exercises.
