Since I've been on the grapefruit diet i lost about 12lbs. I joined ft a couple of days ago and my program starts on the 8th, today is the 6th. i wanted to know should i continue the diet while i do this program. plus, im not sure where the weight comes from on this diet because i dont use a measuring tape but it comes off and i was wondering is this a safe way to go. Please Help Need responses before the 8th so i'll know what to do. Thanks, pirate02

when you saw "grapefruit diet" are you eating that only? what else is on this diet?

Its like a lot of other fad diets where they have you eating only so much of one thing so you lose a lot of weight in a hurry but as soon as you come off it you gain it all back. This doesn't sound healthy at all! You will most likely collapse from weakness if you weight train while on this diet!

By the way I've heard (tap me if I'm wrong) that eating too much grapefruit can make the absorbtion of other micro nutritions in the body more difficult......

Too much grapefruit also isn't good for your teeth. It takes the enamel off your teeth. I used to eat them a lot when I was younger (around 3 a day) and the dentist told me to stop because your teeth can get dull..... If a lot of grapefruit does this to your teeth then I think it may not be too good for inside your body.
