Can't this year. Rev8ball is going, though...

Yea, he's presenting as part of the strength summit. I'd really like to see his presentation, but I can't afford the summit ticket. I'll probably spend most of my time around the expo and strongman competition.-------------- SQUAT MORE ~Jesse Marunde Blood Guts Sweat Chalk |

Same time, same place, every year.
Dude, if you can get out here, we're renting floor space in our hotel. I think there is still an air mattress up for grabs... get at me... -------------- SQUAT MORE ~Jesse Marunde Blood Guts Sweat Chalk |

Don't be a puss.
We are driving all night Thursday night, getting there when the expo opens Friday morning, and we've got a hotel for Friday and Saturday night. If you end up being able to make it and need a room either of those nights, let me know. |

its a 440 mi drive from here. so thats like 7 hours of me talking to myself. even I can get bored of that..
damnt, now i am going to be stressing about figuring this shit out. what kind of money we talkin for teh room and what did you pay for tickets? the site confused me plus I have no idea what to go to. i would wanna do the expo (duh), hopefully the strongman, PLing, and bb show... i saw what you are basically sticking to tho... |

Barring the most extreme circumstances, I'll be there for 2010; it's not really a possibility this year :(
Btw, Wrestler, have you implemented any of that Z-Health stuff yet? |

As for the z-health, I have the video of their warm up, etc. One of the guys here is doing it, but just developed shoulder pain (benching on a thin bench in competition), so that's taken a back burner. I want to implement, but I'm mid cycle and don't wanna mess with anything, as it is I'm already overtraining my shoulders and tris, so I need to cut back, not add more.
For the arnold, probably like $40 for the room, expo is like $10, I think the strongman is free but I'm prob going backstage anyways. I think there is a fee for the BB finals. Most of the stuff is free. We might be getting another room, because we planned on there being just the 4 of us, now we're up to like 8 or so. Its worth sleeping in a sleeping bag though, it should be pretty awesome. As for the 7 hour drive, audio book man. Its the only way I can get through, I'll be driving one of our rental vans. -------------- SQUAT MORE ~Jesse Marunde Blood Guts Sweat Chalk |

I think it a 5 hour drive or so for me, I just forgot about it and didn't ask off for work. My coach will be there tho talking to some people about stuff and at the beverly booth.
Hope I be in a better postion next year to go. -------------- \"The eight laws of learning are explanation, demonstration, imitation, repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition, and repetition\" |

============
Quoting from Tinnuk: Is it all exibition there, or do they sell shit too? ============= It's mostly exhibition and companies handing out large amounts of free crap (usually fill a couple duffle bags full), but many of the booths in the expo are also selling things. In addition to that, there are so many sporting events going on you can't pick which ones you want to go see. Backstage at the strongman will just be a chance to hang out with the competitors in the warm up area, talk shop, watch Misha muscle snatch 300lbs+ for reps, the usual stuff. Last year, I wasn't with them, but the crew got to have lunch with Louie (waffle house), and they're planning on that again. I'm told you can also pay $10 to watch Lou Ferrigno rip his shirt off Hulk style, but I've never witnessed this one myself. -------------- SQUAT MORE ~Jesse Marunde Blood Guts Sweat Chalk |
