I'm a 17 year old girl who has gained some unwanted weight, and people are noticing. I'm trying to lose at least 15 pounds by summer and tone and tighten. I really wana know what works, I want the weight gone in my legs and but for sure, can anyone give me some advice. It's so hard for me to stay motivted between school, work, friends, I feel like i hve no time to workout. When i should work out I'm too tired to do it!

I've always found that convincing one of your friends to join in on your work out plans will help keep the motivation.

Start taking a close look at what and how much you are eating. Most teens have terrible dietary habits(I'm not pointing a finger at you specifically) and are getting too many of the calories that you don't need, and not enough of the ones they do. Check the diet forum. Strength training is VERY beneficial, but ultimately without proper eating habits it's like rowing upstream.
