I joined this site a few days ago in hopes of toning my abs and transforming some body fat into lean muscle. The training schedule that I have received so far, has yet to target my abs. Why is this?

Assuming you checked the special abs program when you filled out your workout, go to the first day of your workout and scroll aaaaaallllll the way down to the bottom. The abs work should be there. Fill out your profile too. We don't know how to help you without information.

Why do so many people have a misconception that fat magically turns into muscle? Anyway gymnastics exercises are great especially the ab exercises but most will probably be too difficult for beginners. Also, cardio and reducing your calories gets you cut not 100s or 1000s oh crunches.
