I've been working out for about a year now and am pretty happy with the results. I have always had very skinny thigh muscles and lower leg muscles. I never wear shorts cause my legs look like two little twigs supporting a disproportioned upper body. I have access to a gym but only one with universal weights. Any suggestions from anyone on how to build up my thigh muscles? I'd really like to bulk them up, so should I increase my protein intake? PLEASE HELP!

What is your routine now?

If it doesn't include "squat deadlift then squat and deadlift some more" make sure it does.

What equipment do you have?

Machine leg lifts and leg curls are also good for thighs. Calf raises will build your calves. You can do them a hundred different ways depending on your equipment. You can do single leg calf raises on a stair step. They are very effective.
