Hey I just joined. I have been going to the gym for like 8 months and not lost anything. The programs they keep writing for me are to easy and I don?t feel them doing anything. I like to leave the gym in pain is that a bad thing?? I think the biggest issue is that I struggle to eat 1000 calories a day. Im generally so busy that I forget to eat. I think I have ruined my metabolism and am not being very successful at fixing it. Any suggestions???
1000 calories a day: There's your problem right there. You need to do two things:
-Consciously make an effort to eat. You have to. Try gradually stepping your calories up to around 10 calories per pound of body weight per day(general estimate for weight loss). If you starve your body, it will not comply to your wishes.
-Challenge yourself at the gym. Try adding more weight or more sets to your routine. If you don't feel it, it's not working. Or get a routine off of this site. The idea is that by the end of your set, you should have a hard time getting the last few reps in.
