hi my name is adil. i am new on ft and new to weight training too. well i was wondering if there are some excercises or may be anything else that can help me increase my height

Adil, how old are you? If you are under 18, you will probably grow another inch or two...maybe. But as Arnold pointed out, your max height is determined by your genetics and cannot be changed.

That equipment your talking about at the gym shop where you hang by your ankles, it's right by those magnetic bracelets.

That is the well I will be nice and just say that it will not work for the first option. The inverse or as they are better known gravity boots are good for relaxing the spine but will not induce growth. As for the surgery option that is reserved for very short people like those that should be taller and do not grow as in under 4 feet etc. Your friend most likely had what is called a placebo effect. This means that while he was using the upside down boots his body just grew on its own that is all.
