I have left a few posts today since 9am, its now after 2pm...I see there arent many moderators....Can I help in anyway?? for instance, i can leave people messages to encourage them....Ive done that with a few posts that i see they have gotten no response.....Or is there a standard turn around time of like 24 hours or something....I know this is an awful lot of work to look thru all these posts daily....Just wondering if it can be made easier....I dont want anyone to think that i am bitching, just wondering that is all.....:)

Well, it's not really the mods job to respond to every post. That's for the community to handle! Many of the inquiries from this and other beginner threads have been answered many times over, and it just takes a little searching through previous posts to find those answers.
Don't get me wrong, I for instance don't mind re-telling the same advice to new comers, but I can see where many in the community would focus their efforts elsewhere.
So just keep doing what you're doing, and encouraging others to hang in there too!
