Hi there, thanks for taking the time to read this.

My eatting is terrible, I don't work out, my health is not that great and I'm only 27, male.

I blame myself, and I blame the anxiety disorder as well as the meds I was on for going from 170 to about 255. My goal is 60lbs of fat to be lost.

I plan on starting small, so my goal right now, is just 5 lbs to lose.

My eatting is terrible, I am a snacker, I love beer, and I love to eat at night and sleep till 2-3pm the next day. I was laidoff from work so its possible now.

I know there are alot of diets to try, but right now I'm just going to eat only natural things. Meat, veggies, fruit, ect. I also drink alot of diet coke, and I really need to do water, but I hate the taste of water, I need to find something..

I really need alot of cardio, but from the panic attacks I use to have, I get so scared with my heart rate goes up. I have access to a bowflex xe2, that I plan to start slow and work my way up.

So my goal right now again, is to change my diet to only natural things and lose 5lbs.

What do I need? I really need a beginners start up guide to working out, a good diet program, and to here from some other members start suffer from anxiety/panic attacks.

Congratulations on deciding to change your lifestyle.
Your goal of 5lbs is very do-able. I can suggest to you to take a small step by doing your exercises regularly 4x a week since you are not working, and you will still have time to find work.
Second, start adding fiber into your diet,like grain breads, bagels whole grain cereals etc. Eats 4x a day,and try and eat things like fish and chicken breast. If you like diet coke, drink it, but eventually cut back. If you use butter or margarine, get rid of it and use jam or light cream cheese. Use Skim milk or 1%,in cereal or coffee. Lots of citrus fruit also (more fiber).Don't worry about the cardio, just get it in by walking.

Congrats on your goals. We are all here to help. I noticed that you said the taste of water is not your favorite. May I suggest adding a squeeze from a slice of lemon or other citrus fruit. Good luck.

thanks for the warm welcomes,, i may do some thing with fruit and add it to my water

the diet is going well, the workout is going well, i'm just slowly starting right now, doing light stuff for about 20 mins of cardo, and about 30 mins for strength training. Enough to where my muscles get warmed up and I start to sweet.

The biggest thing for me is going to be giving up snacking at night, or snacking lightly on the healthy foods

:) hi all my name is jess, i'm new here :) and yea, i want to lose some weight..but its so difficult >.< i do fitness and diet as well, but still difficult to lose weight >.< and yea i found this site today, hope fully it can help me to lose some weight :) and nice to meet u guys ^^

Hey yall. im katie. just signed up. i want to loose about 92 lbs. i am preaty good bout eatin the good stuff at the right times not so much the bad stuff, thats all the time:cool: well if you dont mind im goin to need alot of help you guys are all i have:(
