I fell on black ice, fractured my ankle, broke my leg and shattered my knee into 6 pieces.
Spent 3 months off my leg. Had knee surgery- 10 feet of wire, 4 screws and several pins.
I am in rehab and don't want to overdo. When I work out to the max my ankle swells. If I don't then I have difficulty walking via my knee. What do you suggest?
Lost weight, doing upper body weight training, doing all physical therapy exercises for knee and ankle, but having troubles with same.
