Hello all, just looking for any tips.

African American Female
Goal Weight: 135lbs
Current Weight: 210lbs
Body fat:46%
Height 5'4
Shape:HOURGLASS (I GAIN WEIGHT/LOOSE ALL OVER AT ONCE) GOOD OR BAD?

I NEED A JUMP START, I NEED TO GET DOWN LBS BEFORE I CAN FEEL LIKE IM DOING SOMETHING, AND WHEN I DON'T, I QUIT. I WOULD LIKE TO LOSE MY FIRST 35LBS IN TWO MONTHS, BEYOND THE 35LBS I WOULD NOT MIND LITTLE BY LITTLE RESULTS, I CAN'T EVEN GET OUT OF THE 200'S. I AM GOING ON VACATION THE LAST WEEK IN NOVEMBER 2009, AND I DON'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE THIS, AND IM GETTING MARRIED NEXT JULY 2010,AND I REFUSE TO SHOP FOR A DRESS AT THIS WEIGHT. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM DOING THAT IS SO WRONG AND WHY OTHER PEOPLE CAN DO IT BUT I CANNOT. I KNOW AM THINKING ABOUT TRYING A CALORIE COUNTING DIET, EATING ANYWHERE FROM 1200-1500 CAL A DAY. AND SPEED WALK/JOG A MILE 5 DAYS A WEEK. IS THAT BAD? WILL THAT HELP?

I JUST NEED HELP, A LITTLE GUIDANCE, AND TO KNOW THAT IT CAN BE DONE.

Start around 1800-2000 calories a day. Make your meals centered around protein, and be mindful of your carb intake. 35 pounds in two months is very steep, and to even hit half of that number is gonna be tough. The good news is that once you get past the beginning, it'll be a lot easier.
Definitely start a strength training and cardio routine. Just the strength training alone will accelerate your results.
