Hey, tsm....
Welcome to FT... first, take a look at what you are eating. Diet plays a big role in dropping any weight you want. Get a handle on that and start going for walks or mini-runs.
Add some resistance training in there and you are on your way.
Grab one of the programs from this site and get started!
You CAN do it.

You can drop 100 pounds easy.........well not easy, but you can do it if YOU really want to, as TimDay says cut out saturated fats and start slowly introducing cardio exercises, like fast walking, swimming, etc, then when you start loosing a wee bit then start with some strength training, that will really start to see results.
Good luck and let us know how you are getting on, :)

With all your activities you will have to find some time for yourself.
We have all been over weight and /or out of shape. If that wasn't the case the gyms would be empty.
A good start for your diet is to increase fiber, eat more citrus fruits and cut out processed foods..
Being out a lot at work school etc, try cooking healthier foods in advance for meals during the week. Make your goals reasonable. Forget about the hundred pounds, and start with twenty as that is more short term and do-able which will keep you motivated. Welcome to the community and feel free to ask questions and post your progress. Together we can do it!
-------------- Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.
