After 6 years and 100lbs lost, I've managed to gain a majority of it back due to poor choices and bad habits... I am ready to get to work again :)

I am looking to by a single Olympic free-weight machine to work all major body groups on a tight budget. It must include:

1) A safe squat rack that locks in place if I am about to pass out.
2) Safe bench (incline and decline)
3) Lat machine (for back and crunches)
4) Leg station
5) Preacher curl attachment.
6) Fly attachment.

Would rather stay below $500 (without the actual bar and weights) if at all possible.

Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction?

Currently 32 years old, 5' 10" tall, 230 lbs. (A flabby mess of bad food, alcohol, and cigarettes).

Goal... Abs (10% to 12% BF) by May 23, 2010

Please help.

I'm not sure of any specific type of piece of equipment, but you might wanna check out kijiji or craigslist.

A good start would be a squat rack. From that you can do, squats (ha!), chins, all sorts of barbell workout (outside of the rack).. throw in a bench and you can do oodles of stuff.

How does this guy look :

Seems like a fairly good price considering other machines in it's class. Any thoughts?

Looks pretty impressive. I'd see if you can find one that is set up and mess around a bit. You want to make sure it's stable enough for you and the weight you push.
