Hello!
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jillian and I just had a baby 6 weeks ago. My original weight was 135lbs and my height is 5'8. I have at least 30lbs to lose! I am quite ashamed at the weight I gained during my first pregnancy. I am bound and determined to lose 5 lbs a week to get back my 23 year old body!:dumbbell:

Um, I hate to tell you this but 5 pounds of fat a week is a BIG number. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. It took you nine months to put that weight on, so it's gonna take some time to take it off. Try focusing on your diet first, then move on to some strength training, then cardio. The weight will come off in time and you'll be better for it!

Well, okay. I am expecting a bit much with wanting to lose weight so fast. I would certainly be happy with 2 pounds a week though! I better get started on a healthy eating pattern...which is my biggest struggle of all.

Good luck. I gave you some good eating suggestions in another thread. !-2 lbs per week is very do-able. Like plex said, 5 is not, and would only discourage you. Keep us posted on your progress, and if you need help, feel free to email me here.
