Hi all,
Im Trev from the UK im 23 yrs old 5ft 6' and approx 88kgs.
Just looking for some pointers on what i can do to improve losing weight or diet. I have only just started this i know it will be long and hard but i really want to do this.
This is my weekly excercises:
MONDAY - Boxing training (just started, im not a boxer just train!)
WEDNESDAY - Boxing training (just started, im not a boxer just train!)
THURSDAY - 5 a side football/soccer (been doing for over 5 years now)
FRIDAY - Boxing training (just started, im not a boxer just train!)
I am finding this training OK and i do ache a quite little but it is bearable. and as the saying goes 'No pain, No gain!'
My diet basically consists of:
BREAKFAST - Porridge/oats with a banana OR yoghurt with a banana
LUNCH - Pasta with a tomato sauce with tuna or chicken & sweetcorn and a side salad
DINNER - Chicken with rice(or pasta), veg and potatoes OR turkey with rice(or pasta), veg and potatoes.
SNACKS - Fruit only
DRINKS - Water only
Are there any improvements i can do here or just do what i am doing? im not expecting to lose weight from day 1 its just im not too sure on what i am doing with it!
Hope it all makes sense
Thank you all for reading

Go lighter on your lunches, stick to salads with chicken breast tuna or salmon.
Make sure the fruits are citrus
Add some more healthy fats like walnuts/almonds for a snack with a fruit.
Alternate some eggs and cereals in the breakfasts.
Add some whole grain bagel occasionally with jam, for a breakfast with some fruit.
Is the rice Brown? Pasta??

At the moment i am having brown rice and white penne pasta.
How much walnuts or almonds should i take for a snack?

Thanks for the help!

Have your eggs poached. Have about a handful of almonds/walnuts (as much as you can put in the cup of your hand) usually about 15-20..
See if you can change the white pasta to whole wheat if possible, or cut it until you reach your objective, then have it occasionally.
