Was told my full body workout sucks. Any feedback?

What you do is hard to call a workout. Exercise in futility maybe?
Anything that works you through major compound exercises, preferably barbell, will produce good gains.
I would consider getting Starting Strength II by Mark Ripptoe and reading the book cover to cover to learn the basic barbell lifts. Then I would practice those lifts (squat, deadlift, overhead press, bench press, etc) until you become competent. Video your lifts when possible for form analysis.
Alternatively you can take the easier and less productive DB and machine approach.
I would also try reading bodybuilding.com workout programs forum....their FAQ threads at the top are good.
