My name's Ashley. I'm 21 years old and I live in Utah, USA. I just moved to Salt Lake City with my husband of almost a year. I want to get my weight back down after it ballooned to just over 190 lbs when I flew home to Texas for my mother's funeral. I am re-starting university on Monday, and that will include a lot of hiking. There is a modest gym room at our new apartment complex. I want to get back down to 120 - 130 lbs. I'm only 5' 3" tall, so my weight likes to center in my thighs and lower stomach. I really want to exercise because I have knee and back problems that get better with exercise. I also want to keep as many health risks at bay as possible. My family is prone to heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart attacks. I want to help my husband as well. He's a bit overweight and has sleep apnea. In his family, he has to deal with diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, and obstructive sleep apnea. So, that's me and my goals. :love:
