Hi everyone. I guess my biggest problem is my addiction to video games but as of late my wife and I have adopted a 13 year old girl thats semi active in school and I need to lose the 292 build I have now so I can be more active with her and not stay a couch potato.

My biggest problems are I work 12 hours shifts at my job and eating right doesnt happen as much as I'd like. Lately I've been cooking enough to make it through my work week but on my days off I've been slacking and not eating as often as I should, mostly just grabbing some junk food out of the cabinent of freezer. Cooking is a problem because I hate fried foods, I only use grape seed oil and salt isnt used on anything I cook. also I raely eat anything but fish, chicken, turkey, and lots of veggies. I eat good foods just eat too much in a sitting. I'm a fast eater so I fit more in than I should.

The last time I worked out was a couple of years ago and after about 6 months of it I gave up, my weight didnt change and I didnt see any change in the weight I was lifting. It was mostly because the people I worked out with only did upper body workouts and did them 6 days a week without much rest between groups.

hopefully this year will be different.

Do you play video games on a home computer? If so you need to shut it down. And forget about it. Well the game that is and find the web page that says "here's how to get health and stay health". that's if there is a website like that..
First, I think you need to get your MIND SET right..

And Freetrainers is as good a place as any to start.. plus if you are like me a cheap basterd it's free with top notch people willing to give support and advice...
I hope this just isn't some New Years idea you came upon...

I have put the video games on a time limit of 2 hours per week. It's my escape so I need to keep some of it. I've read quite alot on the site and my mid set is pretty much locked down. I've been working at the fitness plan for two weeks and love the way I'm feeling so i got my mind set ready.
