its a good idea to vary your exercise routine. but for me the best thing is to stick to one type then just add new moves to that routine. for example, do crunches as your basic abs workout. then sit ups for your variation. the nxt week crunches and leg raise.i dont say that you do crunches as foundation of your abs workout for the rest of your life. but most exercise takes time to master and get the feel of it. when you feel you have mastered the execution not THAT YOU THINK!....is the time to change it.
