hi
I have just started a basic workout programme today.. and so far so good! I have filled in my progress chart, however, when i check the progress chart it only logs the exercises which have required weights, and doesnt include crunches and squats etc that i do not use weights for. Why is this?? Does this mean that there is no point in charting weight free exercises? Also i am only being sheduled to workout for three days a week, and i was expecting 5 days a week... how soon should i see results at that rate? Thanks for any answers, sorry if i sound naive, but im very new to all this.

Don't worry about sounding naive. This is new to you and we are here to help. First off, for recording exercises that don't require weight, I log in the number of reps. As time passes you might want to use a weight in addition to your body weight, than start putting in the total weight (that's what I do, others don't), it's your choice. If you were expecting 5 days a week, go back in where you chose the program, and make sure the appropriate boxes are checked off.
You will begin to feel the results within 7-10 days by having more energy and your clothing starting to feel looser on you.
Have fun, stay healthy in mind, body and spirit!
-------------- Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.
