It depends upon how many calories you are supposed to be taking in per day. You can have six 'small' meals that are 400 calories, but if you only need 2000, then the 2400 is too much.
It all depends upon what 'small' is.

ok im 24 years old and every time i workout i do so till it feels like my head is about to explode! I'm 6'2 246 my workout starts with 180lbs 12x 30sec break 190 10x 30sec break 200lbs 8x 30 sec break 210lbs 6x 30 sec break 200 12x no break dumbell flies 100lbs till collapse 2 min break on to shoulders same pattern then back same pattern then bis then tris all same pattern done in less than 45 minutes. every other day i do ether hardcore running or paced long jogging not on the same day as lifting. lower body i do the same pattern as upper body just different lifts and abs that day as well. my diet is the problem im on a 6 meal a day plan the portioning is my problem because if i do not eat i will be dead in the gym every one says six small meals well how small my goal is 220lbs and totally ripped success!
