My generated "Gain Muscle Mass Training" exercise plan is full of 4-set lifts with reps like 20-16-14-12 or similar. Doesn't this build endurance rather than muscle mass? If so, why does Freetrainers use this rather than lower rep lifts?

what is the level that you are at. I know in my last 8 week general progression program I did it at intermediate and those were the reps. Now I am starting a advance 8 week progression program and it has 12 rep to 4 reps. So the level you are at depends on your rep they give, that is what I think.
