Ok. Eating clean, around 1900 a day, and working out 3x a week for about 45 minutes,20 which is warm up/cool down cardio and 25 of weights. Doing this, how much weight(based solely on numbers) should your typical person lose in a 5 month period? I am wanting to lose at least 20lbs by August when Ty get's home from MS, but don't want to jip myself, especially if it would be realistic for me to be pushing a little harder and get a lot more off. Yesterday was our second day at the gym, and I find it so funny how different peoples ideas of what will work is. My sister in law did not want to do arms, she said that push ups are enough for her arms, she wants to focus on legs and abs, and me, from being on here so long, I was like, I'm doing my arms, I want to build as much muscle as I can so I can burn this fat faster!

Push ups are for chest and Lats. Yes we are all different but have to work the full body. Not all in one session. Remember, if you do the cardio first you will have less energy for the weights.

What our workouts are averaging are 10 minutes warmup on the eliptical or tredmill, 25 minutes weights, and 10 minute cool down on the tredmill. That 2 times a week, and the 3rd day 45 minutes straight cardio.
I really enjoyed lifting yesterday. While Val was doing Abs, I was doing chest press and single arm rows. I'm workin hard, especially since I might get to go back for a weekend in May, I want to get going and start seeing some results as soon as my body allows!
