Eating is a natural part of life and is really important for your health. Over eating on the other hand can become a bad thing if it is a habit. One of the things that I'm starting to do in addition to starting to working out is keeping a food journal as well as a workout journal. It helps me because I often over eat on snacks (and anything else I enjoy) and sometimes snack when I shouldn't. Keeping in mind that I will have to record everything I eat and how much of it makes me think about what I'm eating ahead of time so that if I am hungry I know that I'm going to record that I ate that cupcake and maybe even two or more then I think ok, maybe instead of eating this I can eat an apple which is not only healthier but will keep me fuller for longer most likely. :) Also positive thinking is a good thing, instead of thinking about how fat I am and how I don't look like this and how I wish I looked like that, I just realize that everyone is different and that while I may never look like that person I can do something to be the best me that I can be. I hope that this post has encouraged you and I know that contacting some of the moderators of this site and using the tools on here can help you figure out a fitness plan that will work for you. Good luck! :)
