Would really appreciate any/all feedback.

I am trying to lose about 10-15 pounds of bodyfat. And obviously get stronger. This is my deal, what do you think?

I try to eat 1600-1800 Calories/daily
Ft weight routine 4 days/week
30 min cardio 2 days/week
20-30 min HIIT 2 days/week

I try to eat clean, higher protein, less carbs(not super low tho), moderate fat(healthy kind, but sometimes not so healthy:)
I am 5'6" and weigh 148 and seem to be making painstakingly slow progress. I probably have 2 days a week where I eat over my allowance, stress eating at night. I am totally motivated to increasing my fitness, strength, and health. Am I going about correctly? Any suggestions?
Thanks!! C

It looks good, but if it is not working try something different, try to eat more...I know that goes against what you think is the right thing to do. But see is adding 500 cals does not make a different, the reasoning is that you need to bulid muscle to get rid of fat....anyway just a thought.

My thought is that you are not making slow progress. If you are lifting, your body weight is less likely to change. As you probably know, muscle weighs more than fat. Judge your progress by some other measure, like how your pants fit. The only true measure would be a body fat analysis. I would not necessarily eat more as mutt suggested, but I would eat more often. Split your current meals into smaller meals more often if you aren't already. If you do eat late in the evening, try to limit the carbs. Your largest carb meals should be just before working out and/or in the morning. Good luck.
