I'm a 36 year old male from Baltimore. I'm 6'1 and 250lbs. On May 1st 2009 I made a choice to change my lifestyle. Back then, I was 284lbs. The days of fast food, smoking, and drinking had to stop. I joined a gym, started eating right and lost 50 lbs. I felt great and loved all the compliments. In September 2009, I stalled. I stopped losing weight so quickly. I lost motivation. November 2009 I had my appendix removed which sidelined me for 5 weeks. Fast forward to May 2010 - I'm back to 260 lbs and eating fast food again. (Still not smoking though!) I had to do something - so I found FT. I'm a guy that goes to the gym and has NO IDEA what the hell I'm doing. All the conflicting info on the net and from friends is overwhelming. I'm now dedicated to following the FT 8-week program. My goal now is to lose 50lbs, tone up, and gain some strength. If I get below 200lbs I am buying myself a new car. I'm still battling urges to eat bad, but I'm controlling myself very well. Wish me luck and ANY tips and trick and such will be a huge help. Thanks FT!
