Hi,

I,m just a bit confused, some people say that to increase muscle volume, one should do more reps with lighter loads when others say just the opposite, few reps with heavy loads...
What do you think?

To increase size, low reps and high weight. For me, high reps increases my endurance, but not substantial size gains. Before you move to low reps and high weight, however, you must have a solid foundation of muscle. That's why many workout programs you see use the first 6 to 8 weeks on compound movements and circuit type training. You can't simply jump in to a low reps program blindly.
