So completely confused about my nutrition plan. In the past I have always made sure to eat 3 protiens to every one carbohydrate that I ate. Though this nutrition plan has me eating 3 carbohydrates to every protien I am eating. I do not understand how this will help me lose weight and tone up. Could use any help or advice. Thank u
You would be close on the 3:1 prot to carbs ratio. Then again, it would also have you eating less overall since protein should be kept to around 1-2g/lb of body weight. You'd be looking somewhere below 100g of carbs a day. Together you're taking in only 1200cal/day, depending on weight. The diet plans here are only a starting point. One ratio is not going to help everyone, so it shoots for the middle to try and help the most people.
