Lately I have been strapped for time but still manage to work out 1 hour a day though.

I was just wondering if it would be a bad thing to change my training schedule. I now train 5 times a week, with 2 days training, one day off, then again 2 days training and one day off, and so on and so on.

I usually start with Chest and Biceps, then the next day I do back and forearms and then a full days rest and I continue this routine all the time. Now I have been having less and less time on my hands and want to know if it would be bad to train 5 days straight and rest in the weekends.

With this new schedule I would then just train 1 group each day, so monday Chest, thuesday Biceps, wednesday Back, thursday forearms, friday shoulders.

I was thinking that Chest and Back are the major excersises and I would have a days full rest inbetween Chest and Back cause Biceps and Forearms are not body exhausting excersises???

Could someone help me out here, is this the wrong way of thinking? With this schedule I would have more time to train these groups properly.

Greetz,

hiya Mutt,

I was wondering, I came across this excersise and I do not understand it completely,

http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/exercise3/arnoldpress.htm

Could you tell me how this excersise works, the explanation on that page is poorly worded, maybe you know how it goes??

Seems like this excersise is the bomb so naturally I will add these to my Shoulder exercise.

Thnx in advance,

I'm not Mutt, but here is my explanation of an Arnold press: It's just like regular dumbell shoulder presses except you start with the dumbells in front of your chest, palms facing in, from there you go into the regular dbell press positioning (continuing the movement until the dbells are above your head, as usual) and at the end you are back where you started with the dbells "guarding" your chest.

Hiya Lumina or Mutt,

From what I understand you have to turn the weights a full 180° while you are pushing the dumbells up right??

Yes that is correct. you just turn as you push up and do the same on the way down.

They got it! LOL they really hit the delts very well, in fact I use them to shock the shoulders outta the barbell press blues LOL! You will find (at least I do) that you may have to go down in weight at first.
